Survival Skool RPG ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Data Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our tabletop RPG platform, in multiplayer and single-player campaigns.
By creating an account and using Survival Skool RPG, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
In Plain Terms: We only collect what we need to run the game. We don't sell your data. We don't spam you. Single-player messages are sent to an AI model and screened for sexual content, and single-player transcripts are kept and may be used to make videos. Content created on Survival Skool is owned by Survival Skool (see section 8).
We use your information solely to:
- Create and maintain your account
- Enable gameplay features (character creation, campaign management, real-time sessions)
- Allow you to connect with other players in campaigns
- Send essential account-related emails (password resets, critical updates)
- Run the AI Game Master in single-player campaigns
- Screen single-player messages for prohibited content and enforce our content rules
- Review and improve the AI Game Master, and make videos and other content from single-player stories (see section 8)
- Protect against abuse, cheating, and unauthorized access
- Improve the platform based on aggregate, anonymized usage patterns
We do NOT:
- Send marketing emails or newsletters (unless you explicitly opt in)
- Sell or rent your personal information to anyone
- Use your data for advertising purposes
- Share your email with other players (only your display name is visible)
- Encrypted connections â All data transmitted via HTTPS/SSL
- Password hashing â Passwords are hashed using secure algorithms; we cannot reverse them
- Secure database â Access restricted to essential systems only
- Regular backups â To prevent data loss
Your data is stored on secure servers. We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services.
No system is 100% secure. While we implement strong protections, we encourage you to use a unique password for your account and keep your login credentials safe.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share data only in these limited circumstances:
- With other players â Your display name and character information are visible to players in your campaigns (this is necessary for gameplay)
- Service providers â Trusted services that help us operate (hosting, email delivery) under strict confidentiality agreements
- AI providers â In single-player campaigns, your messages, the story so far and your character sheet are sent to the AI model that runs the Game Master: Google's Gemini service (with our shared key, or with your own key if you link one in Settings), or a model running on our own server. Your email, password and AI key are never included. Google's free tier may use this text to improve Google's products; see Google's own terms
- Legal requirements â If required by law, court order, or to protect safety
- With your consent â Any other sharing only with your explicit permission
In a single-player campaign an AI acts as your Game Master. Here is what happens to what you write:
- Sent to an AI model, as described in section 5.
- Screened â Every message you send and every reply the AI writes is checked automatically for sexual content, by a word filter and by a safety model that runs on our own server. A blocked message doesn't reach the story. See section 7.
- Kept â Transcripts are kept permanently, including after you delete the campaign (we keep an archive copy) and after you delete your account. We keep them to review the AI Game Master's quality, to enforce our content rules, and to make content such as videos (see section 8).
- Your own AI key â If you link one in Settings, it's stored encrypted, used only for your own games, and never shown back to you or put in any message sent to the AI.
Nothing sexually explicit, from you or the AI. Romance is allowed, but it always fades to black. Violence, gore and horror are part of the game.
- Blocked messages are stored with your username, the time and your IP address, and reviewed by our admins. An admin can clear a block that was a mistake.
- Three blocks within 24 hours pause your use of our shared AI key for a day. Your own key and our server's model still work.
- Breaking this rule can get your account permanently banned. Bans are always decided by a person, never automatically. A banned account can't sign in, and the IP addresses its blocked messages came from are blocked from signing in and registering.

By using Survival Skool you agree that:
- Survival Skool owns the transcripts of single-player sessions.
- Survival Skool owns all intellectual property arising from the site and your use of it, including stories, characters and other material created through its features. To the extent the law allows, you assign to us any rights you have in that material. Where such an assignment isn't allowed, you grant us an exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, copy, change, publish and commercialise it in any form.
- We may make videos and other content from single-player transcripts. Survival Skool owns 100% of the intellectual property in anything we make from them, and you are not entitled to payment or credit for it.
You can keep using your characters and campaigns on Survival Skool as normal.
We use minimal, essential cookies:
- Session cookie â Keeps you logged in during your visit
- Remember me cookie â If you choose "Remember me," keeps you logged in for 30 days
- Disclaimer acceptance â Remembers that you've accepted the content disclaimer
We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies.
You have the right to:
- Access â Request a copy of your personal data
- Correction â Update or correct inaccurate information
- Deletion â Request deletion of your account and data
- Portability â Request your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent â Stop using the service at any time
To exercise these rights, contact us using the information below.
You may request deletion of your account at any time. Upon deletion:
- Your account credentials will be permanently removed
- Your characters will be deleted or anonymized
- Your campaign ownership will be transferred or campaigns will be deleted
- Some data may be retained in backups for a limited period for technical reasons
- Single-player transcripts and their archive copies are kept (see sections 6 and 8)
- Records of blocked messages, bans and IP blocks are kept to enforce our content rules
To delete your account, contact us at the email below or use the account deletion feature if available in settings.
Survival Skool RPG is intended for adults (18+) only. The game contains mature themes including graphic violence, psychological horror, and other adult content.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete such information.
We may update this Data Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users (such as a notice on the website or email to active accounts).
Your continued use of Survival Skool RPG after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
